The American cuisine originates from the same sources as the history of jazz – the aromas coming from Little Italy and ChinaTown have become a unique smell typical for New York. This is how the taste of life of the new world was created – new American cuisine – democratic, diverse, very domestic and extremely modern. This is how the American restaurant LOFT located at Mosashvili Street in Tbilisi looks like. LOFT is a noisy, democratic restaurant, with democratic prices and choice. One can observe the last century history of America in its interior and menu. Due to natural wooden and linen accessories, slightly cold and industrial interior acquires domestic mood. The word LOFT became a synonym of free, modern and artistic in the middle of last century after New YorkBohemia started to exploit the empty plants on Manhattan. The American artists turned old enterprises in extraordinary workshops, cafes and dwelling houses. Thus, an ultra-modern style was created as a result of merger of industrial, antique and author’s styles. This style remains unchanged in any epoch.
