General Description

In the Shadow of Metekhi – this is mostly a museum-restaurant with its ethnographic interior and retro contents. You will be met here by Old Tbilisi belonging to Baratashvili’s period, with narrow streets and balconies. The restaurant’s concept and décor is designed due to the scenography of the play In the Shadow of Metekhi. If you are thirsty for a real Georgian feast, your place is in the hall of the restaurant – fiery Georgian dances and songs with the live performance are expecting you in the evening. If you want to have a feast in a small circle of your friends, choose a small room: Papakhiani, Fisherman, Butcher, Old Tbilisi or Asian. It is better to spend a warm evening on a big balcony overlooking the river Mtkvari. After tasting the delicious seasonal and specialty dishes, you can taste something foreign as a desert - you can taste flambéed bananas and enjoy the show, when it will be made in front of you.
