Why go
Batumi Boulevard runs beside the Black Sea through a mix of planted promenade, beach edge and more built-up stretches. It gives the city a different scale from its older streets: the horizon stays with you even as the surroundings change.
You do not need to cover its full length. Pick a section that suits your energy, take a pause near the water and decide whether to continue. In warm weather the beach may be the draw; outside beach season the walk still offers the sea air and a view of the city from its edge.
