Why go
The trail begins near Ateni Sioni but continues as a separate nature outing along the left bank of the Tana. Spring brings stronger flow to Damchkeri Waterfall.
Visiting the church alone does not cover this walk. Allow time for the return hike and check ground and river conditions after rain.
