The Hatsvali slopes above Mestia lead toward the Zuruldi viewpoint, where the towers below become part of a much larger mountain landscape. Georgia Travel describes a lift system and summer activities here, but its existence is not a promise that it runs on the day you visit.
Choose a clear-weather day and decide how much time you want on the mountain. This is a viewpoint outing in its own right, not a shortcut to Chalaadi or a substitute for a prepared hike. If the lift is closed, make a different plan rather than assuming an easy walk up.
