Why go
Kolkheti's marshes and Lake Paliastomi lie on a migration route, and the park has observation towers for watching waterfowl. A quiet birding session is a different experience from the lake boat trip.
Ask the park which accessible observation point suits the season. Bring binoculars and keep to approved visitor areas so the marsh habitat is not disturbed.
