Why go
The Mukhrani fortress belonged to the Mukhranbatoni branch of the royal family. Its broad enclosure was designed to shelter villagers and livestock during raids.
This is a separate road trip from Mtskheta's churches and Armazi sites. View the surviving structures where access is permitted and give the settlement time of its own.
