Why go
Sighnaghi Museum brings together archaeological finds, ethnographic objects and an art collection in the center of town. It gives the walls and streets outside a longer story, from older Kakheti material culture to Georgian painting.
Make this a focused visit rather than assuming every gallery or exhibition will be unchanged. The collection includes work by Niko Pirosmani, but current displays and access should be checked before you plan the day around a particular piece.
