Why go
Turtle Lake sits on the wooded hillside above western Tbilisi. A loop by the shore makes an easy change of pace from galleries and markets, while the higher setting opens views back toward the city.
Keep the visit flexible: a stroll by the lake is enough, and any longer walk on surrounding paths is a separate choice. The nearby Open Air Museum can fill more of the day, but check its hours rather than assuming it will be open when you arrive.
