Why visit
Didveli's lift system gives a different sense of Bakuriani's setting from the town streets: wooded slopes fall toward the valley, with higher ridges beyond. MTA's 2026 summer announcement names Nodo and Deka as passenger-lift options, making a scenic outing possible when those services are running.
What to expect
Choose the ride for the view rather than assuming it leads to a marked hike or a guaranteed open attraction at the top. Passenger access, the highest available station and the return journey depend on the day's operation. The photograph shows the winter view; summer changes the landscape and can have a different lift timetable.
Confirm a complete return trip
Ask which stations passengers may reach and how the return works before buying a ticket. Carry an extra layer for the upper station and leave enough time for the last descent.
Ask separately about the toboggan
The resort also offers a mountain coaster, but its operation and ticket rules need a separate check. This visit-time estimate covers the scenic lift and view, not an additional ride or an unverified walking route.
Plan your visit
Before you go
Confirm pedestrian boarding, operating lifts, ticket coverage, weather and the last descent with MTA before travelling. Do not assume winter skier access or a previous summer's timetable applies to your date.
Allow extra time
Visit times are estimates for this activity only. Travel, queues and breaks are extra.
