The Gogichaant Ghele archaeological site preserves large stone rooms linked to domestic, agricultural and religious uses. It offers a much older human landscape than the spa buildings of Borjomi.
The remains are open-air and require careful footing. Use local directions, stay out of fragile chambers and take time to understand the layout.
