The protected-areas agency lists Grouse Waterfall as one of Lagodekhi's visitor trails. It offers a forest and water outing without committing to the high-country Black Rock Lake trek.
Follow the current marked route rather than crossing into the strict reserve. River levels and slippery ground can change after rain.
