Kobuleti's long beach is the simplest reason to stay in town. A walk along the water, with pine-backed sections nearby, gives this coast a slower feel than Batumi's larger urban promenade. Pick a section that suits your stay rather than trying to cover the entire shoreline.
The beach changes with season and weather. In summer there may be busy stretches and temporary services; on a quieter day the pleasure may be the sea air rather than swimming. Respect posted safety guidance and never read a calm photograph as a guarantee of safe water.
