Why go
Martvili Canyon Natural Monument has a managed visitor route from its centre in Inchkhuri, with bridges and viewing platforms above the Abasha River. The short marked path is the core visit; a separate boat trip may be offered when conditions allow.
Come for the rock, water and shaded gorge rather than assuming a boat seat. The protected-areas agency can suspend boating in rain or snow, and the visitor route itself has access rules. Follow the marked path and staff instructions throughout.
Before you go
Check the agency's current opening, admission and boat status before travelling. Wear grippy shoes; swimming and leaving the marked visitor route are not permitted on the managed trail.
