The museum in Stalin's birthplace contains exhibits on his life, a preserved railway carriage and a section on repression. Its displays are themselves part of the story of how this history has been presented.
Allow time to assess the interpretation critically and consider the experiences of victims of Soviet repression. This is a very different visit from Gori's older fortress and archaeological sites.
