Why go
The garden beside the Dadiani palace grew out of the family's nineteenth-century estate. Today its paths and established trees make a visit that feels different from the nearby museum, even though the two share a setting.
Take a slow loop and let the planting and old trees set the pace. This is a pleasant piece of the city to spend time in, not a substitute for Batumi's larger coastal botanical garden or a promise that every historical feature is still visible.
