Why go
Geguti began as a hunting lodge and grew into one of Georgia's largest medieval palaces. Foundations and standing fragments still show the scale of the residence.
The palace is outside Kutaisi, so treat it as a deliberate short trip. Interpret the open ruins carefully and avoid unstable masonry.
