Why go
The Rioni cuts through Kutaisi's historic centre, and the White Bridge makes a natural place to pause over the water. Around it, the Royal District holds an older street pattern and a mix of residential and civic architecture from different periods.
There is no fixed circuit to complete. Cross a bridge, spend time on the quieter streets and return to the water when the light changes. The point is to see Kutaisi as a lived-in city rather than to move from one landmark photograph to the next.
